I believe the law is a helping profession, and my role is to protect my clients and guide them through solving their legal challenges.

One of my early inspirations was Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird. The integrity and strength of Atticus Finch left a lasting impression on me, and to this day, I view the law as a noble calling. It requires practitioners to exemplify strong character and serve as role models within their communities.

Being a parent and spouse has been a defining experience in my life, shaping who I am both personally and professionally. I am also grateful for the education I received from the University of Michigan and Wayne State University, which broadened my perspective and deepened my commitment to understanding people and their unique experiences. Traveling and reading are two of my favorite pastimes, and together with my liberal arts and legal education, they have helped me develop a well-rounded view of the world.

My husband and I are proud to be charter members of the Ann Arbor West Rotary, an international organization that champions the motto "Service Above Self." Rotary’s current mission to eradicate polio holds a special place in my heart, as my beloved aunt was a polio survivor. Our local club is focused on both local and global humanitarian efforts, including supporting an orphanage and elder hostel in Sri Lanka founded by one of our members.
